Haskell Cudd Inducted into OSU Alumni Hall of Fame

February 22, 2002 was a night to remember for Mr. Cudd and many of his family and friends.  The occasion was for the induction of Mr. Cudd into the Oklahoma State University Alumni Hall of Fame.

Induction into the Hall of Fame is the highest honor bestowed by the Alumni Association.  The honor recognizes outstanding lifetime achievement in society and professional life, as well as contributions to OSU.

Mr. Cudd graduated from Oklahoma A&M in 1932 with a bachelor's degree in accounting, and the following year completed a master's degree.  He began his career as the accountant for Stillwater Milling Company in August 1933, the same year he and his wife Ethel were married.  A few years later, he was named general manager, and in 1971 became President and CEO after purchasing controlling interest in the company.  He continues in that capacity today at the age of 94.

Other honors include being named to the OSU College of Business Hall of Fame and the Stillwater Hall of Fame.  He received the Distinguished Service Award from the OSU Animal Science Department in 1989 and was featured in a Fortune Magazine article on older workers in November of 2000.

Over the years, Mr. Cudd has served the industry as president of the Oklahoma Flour Millers Association and the Oklahoma Feed Industry Association.  Locally, he was president of the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, a founding member of the Stillwater Medical Center Foundation, and a member of the Stillwater Industrial Foundation.

A long time supporter of Oklahoma State University, Mr. Cudd has established an endowed scholarship for accounting students and an accounting chair for the College of Business.

Mr. Cudd credits his education from OSU with giving him the tools to go forward and make a contribution to the business world and society...
